Trust and Estate Paralegal
Manage duties that include:
- Management of the probate estate and guardianship process and procedures;
- Prepare trust, estate and guardianship accountings;
- Prepare estate planning documents;
- Prepare attorney for hearings;
- calendar management of events and deadlines;
- scheduling;
- finalizing and e-filing pleadings/motions with the court;
- updating and organizing files within the internal database;
- corresponding with opposing counsels paralegals, judicial assistants, and clients;
- manage logistics;
- work independently;
- collaborating with attorney as necessary.
Associate degree or equivalent experience is required. Paralegal certification by an ABA approved program is a plus. Must have 3 years experience as a Trust and Estate Paralegal. Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience with all State of Florida e-filing portals. Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills are a must.
