Trust and Estate Paralegal

Manage duties that include:

  • Management of the probate estate and guardianship process and procedures;
  • Prepare trust, estate and guardianship accountings;
  • Prepare estate planning documents;
  • Prepare attorney for hearings;
  • calendar management of events and deadlines;
  • scheduling;
  • finalizing and e-filing pleadings/motions with the court;
  • updating and organizing files within the internal database;
  • corresponding with opposing counsels paralegals, judicial assistants, and clients;
  • manage logistics;
  • work independently;
  • collaborating with attorney as necessary.

Associate degree or equivalent experience is required. Paralegal certification by an ABA approved program is a plus. Must have 3 years experience as a Trust and Estate Paralegal. Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience with all State of Florida e-filing portals.  Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills are a must.
