Erica Lynn Peterson joined Older Lundy Alvarez & Koch in 2021 as an attorney practicing in our civil litigation department with a focus on first- party and third- party property insurance claims and disputes. 

Ms. Peterson is a member of the Florida Bar Association and the Clearwater Bar Association where she has previously served as a Director on the organization’s Board of Directors and led its “People’s Law School” program which focused on educating the public about the legal process through a variety of qualified speakers and court simulations.  Ms. Peterson has also held a membership with the St. Petersburg Bar Association. Ms. Peterson received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, Rhode Island and then went on to earn her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida.

Mr. Peterson was admitted into the Florida Bar in 2008. She is admitted to practice in all courts of the State of Florida and the Federal District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the Southern District of Florida.

Ms. Peterson prides herself in the accessibility she provides her clients throughout the legal process.  In addition to the expertise she brings to her clients, she has a unique ability to inform and educate them throughout the legal process.  Ms. Peterson’s clients appreciate how she makes the litigation process more understandable to them.

Erica is an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and enjoys spending time with her two sons.
