B.A. Rollins College, 2005
J.D. Stetson Univ. College of Law, 2011

Margaux L. Payor joined Older Lundy & Alvarez in 2018 as a member of the firm's Marital and Family Law practice group.

Initially starting her legal career in family law, Margaux joined a boutique family law firm in Tampa, Florida, where she quickly developed a strong base in the legal community. In 2013, Margaux gained valuable trial experience litigating insurance cases with the USAA legal team in Tampa, while still privately managing her own family law practice. Shortly thereafter, she resumed her practice dedicated exclusively to family law.

Margaux has worked extensively in areas such as dissolution of marriage, paternity and custody disputes, domestic violence injunctions, child support and alimony, as well as LGTB related matters. She has an accomplished record of successful mediations, providing her clients with an amicable out-of-court resolution to their disputes.

Margaux received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Rollins College, with a minor in Women's Studies. She earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Stetson University College of Law.

Margaux was born and raised in Winter Park, Florida, and has been a resident of the Tampa Bay area since 2008. She is an active member of her regional alumni association for Rollins College, where she was the President of the Tampa Bay Chapter from 2009-2015. Margaux also enjoys volunteering with local community service programs.
